Self-employment is a way of organizing your work and an alternative to starting your own business as it enables you to invoice as a private individual without needing your own company.
Self-employment is equally suitable for students, professionals and pensioners. It also works for those who want to invoice customers abroad and when you want to carry out work abroad. Special rules may apply to those who will be working abroad, so contact us before you start work for more information.
Self-employment can be considered a new form of work and lies halfway between self-employment and employment. As a self-employed person, you are employed by EasyFreelance but manage your tasks as if you had your own business. You find your own customers, decide the price, payment terms and how quickly you want your money.
As a self-employed person in EasyFreelance, you don't have to pay tax or manage your company as we have employer responsibility. We take care of the bookkeeping and handle taxes, duties and VAT and make sure they are paid on time so you can focus all your time on your assignments and customers.
As an EasyFreelance contractor, we ensure that you are insured and safe throughout your assignment. As a Freelancer, we offer you probably the best insurance on the market. You are always covered by our non-life insurance and group life insurance when you are on assignments approved by EasyFreelance. In most cases, you are also covered by our liability insurance.

You can work whenever and as much as you want, provided you comply with the Working Environment Act. It is important that you follow the Working Environment Act for your own well-being and to reduce the risk of accidents. It's when we're tired and stressed that most accidents happen. The Working Environment Act states both how much you are allowed to work, as well as what exceptions may occur in certain cases.

An assignment agreement is an agreement between two legal parties that regulates and clarifies the agreement on work. The assignment agreement is drawn up between you and your client before the assignment is carried out. The assignment agreement also clarifies your planned working hours, which makes it easier when, for example, you need to apply for compensation from NAV, claim sick pay or other insurance issues. An oral agreement is legally binding in the same way as an assignment agreement, but one problem with oral agreements is that they are difficult to prove, especially if the parties have different perceptions of what was agreed. We therefore always recommend that assignment agreements are drawn up in writing.
It's okay - Submit your assignment agreement to our call center and we'll help you review it and make sure you and EasyFreelance are comfortable with the assignment agreement.
In connection with the submission of your invoice, you also accept the Agreement and the General Terms and Conditions that apply. You are employed by Easyfreelance as a freelancer on an assignment basis. Your employment relationship begins and ends with each assignment you perform, which is the time you invoice for. Remember that you must notify us in advance that you will be carrying out an assignment in order for you to have full insurance coverage and for documentation for social security etc.
See our terms and conditions here.
In order to be insured during your assignment, you must submit your invoice in advance through our application.
Tip! Once you've completed your assignment, you're just a click away from sending your invoice :)
